Potential Changes for Our Sunday Service Due to Typhoon
Summary:
- We will not meet together at Korakuen if Public Transportation Systems stops.
- We are planning on having fellowship and Bible Study online during the usual worship service time.

1) Concerning 10/13 Worship Service
Strong Typhoon #19 (Hagibis) is expected to hit the Tokyo area sometime around the evening of the 12th to the morning of the 13th. The elders of MBC have decided that service will be cancelled on 10/13 if train lines (such as JR and Tokyo Metro Subway Systems) are closed down at 12:00pm on the 13th. Our final decision will be posted on our website and Facebook page. Please check either of those sites before you come on Sunday.
2) Possible Online Fellowship and Bible Study
If we do decide to cancel the service, we plan to use Zoom (online meeting software, like Skype) to meet together to pray, fellowship, and study the Word. We will meet during our regular time (1:00pm start for English). If you would like to join in, please contact Daisuke or Raymond, or email church@megumibc.jp for instructions on how to use the service.
We are hoping and praying that we can meet together as usual this coming Sunday, but everyone’s safety is a priority for us. Please stay safe.
